Our group focuses on “synthesis smart nanomaterials for diagnosis and treatment of diseases”. We are developing nanoconstructs as a new type of drug delivery system since their “cargo” can be released by changes in environmental factors including ionic strength. Also. We are interested in bio-sensor surface modification to introduce the function that can allow to recognition of specific biomarkers in clinical sample for determination of diseases.
바이오 나노구조체 연구실은 생체 친화적 나노재료를 합성하여 질병을 진단하고 치료하는 연구에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 나노재료의 기초 특성을 조절하여 선택적으로 세포 내에 물질을 전달하는 신개념의 나노전달체를 개발하고 있으며, 나노물질 표면개질을 통한 바이오리셉터 도입방법 개발을 통해 바이오센서가 특정 질병인자를 인식할 수 있도록 기능을 부여하는 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
